How we raise our kittens and adult cats!
Welcome to Skye Coons Maine Coon Cattery. We are located in Spring Lake NC 28390. As a small family cattery, we take pride in the care and affection we provide to all of our cats. All of our females and kittens live as family members, receiving daily love and attention to ensure their health and happiness. Our boys live in our eat-in kitchen, allowing them to socialize with us and each other throughout the day. Equipped with cat trees and cat walks, our cattery provides a stimulating environment for our furry friends to play and explore.
Important Information
At Skye Coons Maine Coon Cattery, we want to make sure that our kittens go to loving and permanent homes. Before adopting a kitten, please make sure that you have enough space and resources to provide a safe and healthy environment for your new family member. We require a contract that states you will give the kitten proper veterinary care, a balanced diet, and a loving home. Additionally, we do not allow declawing. If you have any questions about our policies, please don't hesitate to contact us.
shipping, kitten updates
I am dual registered with TICA and CFA. I do offer video chats to approved families. Weekly updates (pictures, videos, relevant information) on selected Skye Coons Kitten/Cat. I can arrange transportation anywhere in the US. This is at an at cost rate for the transporter. This is normally between $350-$750. I do not allow any of my animals to fly via cargo. They will be taken by a flight nanny or driven by the transporter to your location. It is preferable that you pick up your new family member in person. I am also able to meet you at Raleigh Durham International Airport if you choose to fly. An airplane approved cat carrier can be provided for $30. I am located in Spring Lake NC 28390.
Kitten and Retiree sale info:
Deposits: $500 and must be paid within 48 hours of signing contract for your chosen kitten/cat. The deposit price goes towards the overall price.
All kittens and Retirees include 2 fvrcp vaccines, rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, microchip, clean fecal test before leaving, CFA/TICA registration and a one year congenital health gaurantee. Kittens go home between 13-16 weeks depending on sterilization healing and overall socialization/development. Retirees can go home as soon as they’ve recovered from Spay/Neuter procedures.
Kittens pricing: $2750-$3000 depending on quality (show), type and coloring.
Retirees pricing:
$1800
I do offer a discount for families who welcome 2 or more of my kittens/adults into their homes. Whether you bring two home together, or bring in a new baby three years down the road the discount is valid ❤️
Breeding rights:
I will consider breeding rights for ethical catteries who at a minimum perform DNA and echocardiagrams for all breeding cats. Early spay/neuter before their kittens leave to new homes is not optional. Must have a mentor if breeding less than 5 years. Must be willing to provide veterinarian and known breeder/mentor references. I am willing to work with new breeders and mentor those who purchase breeding rights from me.
Breeding rights cost:
$5000.

I do not offer a waitlist, but please feel free to message me about what you are looking for. I can keep you updated on current/ future litters as well as spam you with baby kitten pictures. I reserve the right of Cattery Option (first pick).
